Organize Your Tools with Garage Storage Systems

Majority of households have turned their garage as storeroom instead of its true purpose of housing for your vehicle. Almost every thing is stored in the garage. But it is not right to just store items there, there are many garage storage systems that can help you clean the clutter in the garage.

Start from buying garage storage cabinets. Make sure that the cabinet is heavy duty and can withstand the weights of the things that you will store. Choose from wall cabinets, free standing cabinets and built in cabinets. I prefer wall cabinets and built in cabinets as it saves floor space.

For things that are always in use, you can have racks and shelving that can placed in the wall or ceiling and where you can hang your tools. If you have a bicycle, buy a bike rack so that you can hang you bicycle in it.

For items that are not usually in use, build an overhead storage. You should place items here that are not in use as well as things not suitable for your kids and labeled with “keep out of children’s reach”. With a little creativity, you can put racks and baskets beneath the overhead storage where you can put your garden tools.

With these simple garage storage solutions, you can avoid the clutter in your garage and make some organization in it.
